Mike was a familiar voice recording commercials for his clients and often filing news and sports stories. If you didn't
personally know Mike you'd be surprised with his sense of humor and quick wit. Here's a couple of tracks. The first is a
studio session for Puff's Appliance and the normal approach was a read through which was fair game for messing around.
The second track is a commercial for Davino's. The back story is that I was reviewing a demo for a production company
that did custom jingles and among their offerings was a demo for Bambino's Pizza. I thought I could over dub Bambino's with
Davino's, a client that Mike handled. I am not really a singer so I hoped I could get away with just singing over the name but I
ended up having to sing the entire jingle. I thought I got away with it and no one caught up and sued us so no harm no foul.
